Below are the results of a survey we conducted in July 2009 of our readers. We asked eleven questions to: (1) find out more about our readers, and (2) see what our readers think is good about the free puzzles and also what could be improved.

The Scriptures.

Easy to access and free, always looking for cost effective ways to engage my girl's ministry in Biblical related material.

The Word of God, Bible Word Search puzzles are a daily devotional. It's also a daily brain stimulus.

I like the Free Bible Word Search puzzles mostly because they continue to teach me the word.

That I can print them and use them for my Sunday School class and bus ministry.

You can learn scripture while doing the puzzle.

Reading the Bible Scriptures.

It not only gives the children a Bible lesson but also a puzzle that reviews what they have learned. I have adults who enjoy these lessons also.

It's like little stories along with the scriptures to help you understand the Bible a little more each time, along with the words to find in the puzzle, and the hidden phase … I enjoy it, and I make copies for our youth at my church …

It not only sharpens my vocabulary, but it forces me to look though the scriptures and learn more on the word of god.

Bible quotations.

It's very educational spiritually and the kids love it.

It is a very creative way to help introduce a particular topic that you are going to speak about to the youth and even the adults at my church.

I love the easiness. I love it. I love it. The kids love it (young adults).

It helps you with learning the Bible Scriptures.

The scriptures.

Enjoy the renewing the mind and the Holy Ghost brings other scriptures to your remembrance as JESUS said HE would do, a Comforter indeed. Keeps one sharp in the WORD of GOD.

Maybe different kinds of puzzles.

They are teaching the word of God doing something fun.

The message it gives.

It keeps me focused on the Bible versus. Let me think on what I have studied in the puzzles throughout the day.

I use them for my teenage Sunday school class. The scripture is a very important part. They are great and my husband always grabs on too. He really enjoys doing them.

I can use these Scriptures for Bible Study.

Its intuitive and unintrusive way of teaching and re-enforcing what you learn or already know. Different mode of introducing "advertising", if you will, the Word.

They are Biblical. I use them in Sunday School.

I like doing Word Searches. I try to find the Word Search puzzles that tie in with the Sunday School lesson I am teaching.
We are considering developing a full curriculum for Sunday School. But, this would not come out until some time in the distant future
The kids from my church really enjoy it.

Most puzzles have a theme. It is nice there is a Christian theme to it. It is also nice to have the Scriptures on the side - to give it more meaning and a short review for those of us who do not know the Bible as well.

I like it the way it is.

Maybe a little harder skills sets

I only use KJV, so when you have the NIV I don't do those.

I love it the way it is, especially the format.

All scriptures be KJV - I know that is selfish.

I would like to see more topics and scriptures that can be understood by teenagers. I use these in my youth Sunday School class.

Nothing, really, its perfect.

Everyone will not be familiar with the different versions of the Bible that the reference exists with the words to find may be from, so the more familiar versions should be used, eg. KJV, New KJV, NIV, at least these versions are what the Christians in my country are familiar with.

To be able to buy in local bookstores, wherever you can buy word search.
That would be great. We have been working to get our books carried by distributors and wholesalers that sell to bookstores. Unfortunately, many do not want to carry “self-published” books. Therefore, we have started calling the bookstores directly. If you know of a store that is convenient for you, send us their information OR just have them order the books through our distributor Baker & Taylor OR directly from us. Easy level for kids.

Ability to search for specific lessons.

Puzzles that are arranged to go with scriptures.
We are considering re-doing the entire website that will allow for searching for puzzles by category. Stay-tuned. It could happen this year.
A direct link from the email to the print version of the puzzles instead of going through several interfaces before actually getting to the print version of the puzzle.
If I count correctly, I think there are only two clicks required to get the printable puzzles on the screen. One to get to the website and one to bring up the pdf file. There are very few (if any) potential problems associated with designing it this way. On the other hand, a direct link to the pdf file might not work for everyone. We prefer the current design as it means less programming on our part and more visitors to our website as well.
Have some more that are simple for children.
My wife Daisy really wants us to do a children's Bible Word Search. We even designed a multi-featured book for school-aged children. So, it is on the drawing board and is slated for a future project. Stay-tuned.
Maybe just send a full week at a time rather than one a day.

Do you write/publish crossword or other puzzles?

I would like to see other puzzles as well as word search.
Great idea, but not yet. We are considering it for the future. Right now we have six volumes of Bible Word Search books. The seventh comes out in October 2009. There are a total of fifteen books planned in the series, plus others, possibly for children. We do not know when we will get to the other type of puzzles. It will depend on how well the business part of this ministry grows that will enable us to get more people involved in the actual design of such other books.
I wish I could have a copy of the book. And any other books that you may have about women of noble character.
